Furnishing Details

I was commissioned to develop a flexible bottle design system that allows rapid customization while remaining suitable for mass production.

I translate Newcos’ initial product sketches into a scalable digital design framework for a new line of bathroom products. Rather than producing static models, I developed parametric bottle geometries in Rhino and Grasshopper that allowed the client’s team to easily adjust dimensions, proportions, and surface features without requiring advanced 3D modeling expertise.

The parametric system enabled quick iteration of bottle variants while ensuring that all designs remained compatible with injection molding constraints. Through multiple refinement cycles, the design definitions were simplified and structured so non-specialist team members could confidently modify the product parameters.

This approach significantly reduced design iteration time and enabled the client to efficiently explore product variations while maintaining consistent brand aesthetics and manufacturability. The resulting product line became the client’s best-selling offering.

Empowering Flexible and Scalable Design

I developed parametric design definitions that enabled the client’s team to easily modify bottle dimensions and surface features without requiring advanced CAD expertise. The system was iteratively refined to simplify interaction while preserving design intent and manufacturing constraints. This approach allowed rapid exploration of product variations while maintaining brand consistency and injection-molding compatibility, ultimately resulting in the client’s best-selling product.
